Agency standards dropped drastically when the brilliant carer was away. The baking tray it seems wasn't washed after use Thursday (28/4), & then was used Saturday (30/4) without washing before or after. This is Well burnt in :-( Food hygiene standards 0/10.

Nice agency call today with Karen for both calls but doesn't make up for the last week. Last time she was here was Monday bath/lunch call. This should be 3 hours only they came for her ¾hr early so the the washing was only partially done. Both Thursday & Friday calls started very early at 11.45am not 12.30pm onwards to 2pm as is their usual want. ( Read more... )

The agency were late again.
In my last 5 tea calls 2 started at 4.30pm, 3 started at 6.55pm. Today's tea call started at 5.55pm.
I was thinking at this rate I'll need to request a snack call in between the lunch and tea calls! But seriously, this isn't good enough :-(

I didn't mention here but the agency didn't turn up until a staggering 6.55pm again for my tea call. My carer thought that terrible, in a few minutes some of the early night time bed calls would be starting, he couldn't believe that they hadn't yet started my tea call. And me with hypoglycaemia too. This started at 19.55pm, last communication received 11.40am nearly. My Entire evening, Christmas Eve has been of extreme stress & worry :'( Care in the Home is despicable & fking shit, the agency boss nasty :-(

# discovered why the Tomato & Lemon soup we made Friday made surprisingly only 2 portions not the usual 4-5, carer had bought ½lb beef tomatoes not the 1½lb clearly stated on shopping list :-/
